2011년 무커지에서 두 번째 영화 예자와니 하이 디와니(Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani)의 대본을 집필하던 중, 브라흐마스트라: 파트 1 – 시바의 아이디어가 처음 등장했습니다.[18] 무커지는 2014년 7월에 새로운 프로젝트를 진행하고 있다고 처음 발표했습니다.[19][20] 2017년 10월, 프로듀서 Karan Johar에 의해 Brahmāstra가 공식적으로 발표되었습니다.
