벤튼 카운티 법원(Benton County Court)은 미국 아칸소주 벤튼빌에 있는 법원으로, 1928년 벤턴 카운티군청 소재지이다. 1988년 국가 사적지에 등재되었다. 그 법정은 앨버트 오에 의해 클래식 리바이벌 스타일로 지어졌다. 클라크와 앵커는 벤튼빌 타운 광장의 동쪽에 있다.

역사

건축가 앨버트 O. 클라크는 에서 왔다. 1904년 미주리 주, 미주리 주, 로저스 주, 아칸소. 그는 카운티 내 다른 곳에 있는 애플게이트 약국과 뱅크 오브 로저스 빌딩을 설계할 때 클래식 리바이벌 스타일을 활용했다. 그의 작품을 승인한 후, 클라크는 벤튼 카운티 감옥과 카운티 법원 등 벤튼빌에 많은 건물을 짓기 위해 고용되었다. 그의 건물은 1874년 이래로 군정의 필요에 부응해 온 이탈리아식 구조를 대체했다.[2]: 6, 18 벤튼에 있는 최초의 법정은 1837년에 세워진 통나무 건물이었다.[3]

클래식 리바이벌(Neoclassical) 스타일로 지어진 벤튼 카운티 법원은 전면 대칭의 전면과 중앙의 입구가 특징이다. 이 건물은 또한 고전 부흥 건축의 주요 특징인 키스톤을 전시하고 있다.[4] 3층은 원래 발코니를 포함했지만, 나중에 기후를 조절할 수 있도록 둘러쌌다.[5] 오늘날 폐쇄된 3층 창문에는 둥근 발바닥의 아치가 있는데, 이것은 로마네스크 부흥 건물 스타일에 맞는 변형이다.
