베이프런트(Bayfront)는 뉴저지 주 저지시티의 도시 재개발 사업이다.

하켄삭 리버프론트

하켄삭 리버프론트는 뉴어크 만의 하켄삭 강 어귀 근처에 있는 해켄삭 강 동쪽 둑에 있는 지역이다.그것은 시의 서쪽에 있으며, 특히 NJ로 440번 국도의 서쪽에 있다.[1]드로이어 포인트 북쪽과 링컨 파크 남쪽이다.허드슨 몰,[2] 사백사십 쇼핑센터, 옛 저지 시 공공사업소 소각장[3] 등이 예정되어 있는 곳이기도 하다.현재 리버터미널인 옛 연방조선건조회사 키어니포인트와 교각은 맞은편 둑에 있다.[4]해켄삭 리버워크는 부분적으로 완성된 그린웨이 산책로로서, 주로 물가에 있는 북버겐의 베이온느 다리에서 해켄삭 메도우랜드까지 운행할 계획이었다.[5]

베이프런트 프로젝트

베이프런트(Bayfront)는 100에이커(0.40km2)의 브라운필드(brownfield) 부지에 위치하도록 제안된 복합용도개발로, 한때 그곳에서 시설을 운영했던 회사를 허니웰이 매입한 후 독성 폐기물의 환경개선이 완료되면 민관협력을 통해 개발될 예정이다.[6][7][8]고속도로에 의해 분리되었지만, 뉴저지 시립 대학교의 베이프런트 캠퍼스와 웨스트 캠퍼스는 도시의 많은 부분을 공업 및 제조 구역에서 주거, 교육, 오락 및 상업 구역으로 변화시키기 위한 것이었다.벌크헤드를 따라 강 가장자리에 대중이 접근할 수 있도록 개발 계획이 필요하며 드로이어 포인트의 에스플라네이드에 연결된다.2016년부터 공사가 시작될 것으로 예상됐지만 2017년 현재 크롬 등 폐기물 매립은 여전히 완료되고 있다.그러나 이 프로젝트는 2043년에야 완전히 "구축"될 것이다.[9][10]2008년 협약에 따라 시는 35에이커가 넘는 시유지를 허니웰로 넘겼고, 허니웰은 환경정화 비용을 부담하기로 합의했다.440번 국도를 따라 있는 그 땅은 저지 시 소각로 당국, 공공사업부(DPW), 저지 시 도시 공공시설 당국(JCIA)이 있는 곳이다.JCIA와 DPW는 린덴 가의 새로운 장소로 이전할 것이다.일부 JCMUA 기능도 재배치 및 축소한다.교정조치는 구 루즈벨트 드라이브인(Drive-in)과 새로운 NJCU 웨스트캠퍼스(NJCU West Campus)의 부지를 포함하여 이전에 오염되었던 몇몇 다른 현장에 대해 2009년에 완료되었다.[11]시는 이 부동산을 매입해 토지를 배분하고 기반시설을 조성한 뒤 택지를 개발업자에게 되팔기로 했다.[12][13]

대로와 BRT

2011년 3월, NJDOT는 두 프로젝트 사이 440번 국도를 도시 대로로 바꾸는 공사에 약 64만 달러를 지원했다.[14][15][16][17][18]

계획에는 대로변 버스 급행 시스템인 저널 스퀘어 BRT의 이용이 포함되어 있다.상상한 대로 BRT 복도는 드로이어스 포인트에서 달려 시프 애비뉴를 거쳐 저널 스퀘어까지 도달하게 된다.[19]

HBLR 확장

현재 버스운행은 쇼핑센터나 드로이어스포인트에서 저널스퀘어까지 A&C 버스코퍼레이션 32번 노선이 제공하고 있다.2년간의 연구 끝에 2011년 5월 뉴저지 트랜짓스는 현재 종착역에서 허드슨 버겐 경전철 웨스트사이드 분기점을 0.7마일 연장하는 계획을 발표했다.새 선로는 440번 국도를 넘어 재개발 지역 북쪽 끝까지의 고가 고가도로에 옛 뉴어크와 뉴욕 철도 우측통로를 따라 놓이게 된다.두 역 사이의 여행은 1분 50초가 걸릴 것이다.연방정부의 자금지원을 받을 수 있는 이 프로젝트는 1억7천160만 달러가 소요될 것으로 추정된다.[20][21][22][23]2017년 3월 현재 최종 설계 및 엔지니어링 작업에 대한 자금이 책정되었다.[24]1단계 증축 공사가 2020년 3월 착공됐다.[25][26]

페리 스터디

베이프런트는 해켄삭 호를 따라 페리 운항이 가능한 곳으로 여겨진다.연구는 2020년에 의뢰될 것이다.[27][28]
