Ashraf Ssemwogere(또는 Semwogere)는 우간다의 영화 배우, 감독, 무대 배우다.[1] 그는 부간다의 카바카 음왕가 2세에 의해 기독교 신앙을 위해 살해된 부간다 왕족 팀에 관한 이야기인 영화 무카장아("우간다 순교자들의 열정")로 유명해졌다.[2] 셈워레는 2006년 국립극장에서 그의 새 연극 '도시에서의 살인'을 상영한 후, 정체불명의 사람들에 의해 키나와타카에서 납치되었다.[3][4] 그의 영화 '감정 투쟁'은 우간다에서 첫 장편영화로 여겨진다.[5]
