암리차르 메트로버스(Amritsar MetroBus, Amritsar BRTs)는 인도 펀자브 암리차르 시에 있는 버스 고속 환승 시스템(BRTs)이다.[9]암리차르 메트로버스는 명목상의 운임으로 골든 템플, 잘리안왈라 바그, 구루나낙 데브 대학, 칼사 칼리지[10] 같은 도시의 여러 곳을 쉽게 여행할 수 있다.[11]같은 노선에 있는 두 버스 사이의 시간 간격이나 빈도는 5분이다.[12]

건설 및 운영

[13] 프로젝트는 2013년 9월 19일에 시작되었고, 2019년 1월 28일에 545달러(7200만 달러)의 비용을 들여 시작되었다.[14][15]건설 공사는 2015년 2월 26일에 시작되었다.2016년 9월 90%의 작업이 완료됐다.[16]암리차르 BRTS는 아메다바드 BRTS 모델에 기반을 두고 있으며, 메트로버스(이스탄불) 노선에 건설되었다.[17] 볼보버스는 성스러운 도시 암리차르에서의 BRTS 프로젝트에 관심을 보였다.[18]암리차 메트로버스는 타타 마르코폴로가 93대의 에어컨 AT버스로 운행한다.[19] 메트로버스 리코더 출범 후 1주일 만에 4만1000명의 승객이 탑승했다.[20]암리차 BRTS 당국은 일주일 만에 8,000장 이상의 스마트 카드를 일일 승객들에게 팔았다.[21]교복입은 학생부터 상급 중등반까지 교통체계가 완전히 무료다.[22]출범 후 처음 3개월간은 통근자들에게 비용이 들지 않았다.[23]

메트로 버스의 46km 노선은 여러 노선과 복도를 가지고 있다.

2019년 2월 시민들은 지역 내 교통 혼잡이 잦다는 이유로 순환도로까지 연장해 줄 것을 요구했다.[32]

2021년 8월, 암리차르 국제공항과 골든 템플을 직접 연결하는 새로운 노선 501호(UP/DWN)가 개설되었으며, 14.15Km, 14개의 메트로역으로 구성되어 있다.

그린 모빌리티

암리차 스마트시티 리미티드사는 암리차 BRTS에 전기버스 30대와 급유 서비스를 위한 전기자동차 인력거 9,000대를 추가 투입할 계획이었다.[33]

수상 및 인정

암리차 메트로버스는 2019년 11월 럭나우에서 열린 제12회 인도 도시이동 컨퍼런스 및 전시회에서 인도 주택도시부로부터 '최우수 도시 대중 교통 시스템' 부문 우수상을 수상했다.[34]
