올카루엔은 아르헨티나 [2]쥐라기 초기 카냐돈 아스팔토 층에 살았던 익룡이다.그것은 단일 종인 A. koi를 포함하고 있다.
묘사
CT 스캔으로 증명되었듯이, Allkaruen의 뇌 케이스는 Rhamphorhynchus와 같은 기초 익룡과 Anhanguera와 같은 더 파생된 익룡 사이의 중간적인 독특한 특징을 보인다.이러한 특징들은 [3]내이의 전방 반고리관 위치, 후두와 후두관과의 상대적 방향, 응집체와 뇌 반구의 측면 가장자리의 상대적 위치, 그리고 뇌의 길이와 [2]후두뇌의 높이 사이의 비율이다.또한 전두골과 외측 반고리관의 상대적 배향은 안한구라보다 람포린쿠스와 더 유사하며, 시신경엽은 익상엽과 [2][3]같이 전두뇌보다 아래쪽에 위치한다.이 독특한 성격의 조합은 익룡류에서 뇌의 구조가 모자이크 진화를 통해 진화했음을 나타냅니다.
알카루엔의 두정골은 전선의 60% 정도로 길었다.전면 자체는 넓고 평평하며 광범위하게 공기를 주입했다.아래턱은 보존된 두개골 부분의 약 3.5배 길이로, 끝부분이 위쪽으로 휘어져 있다.의치뼈는 앞부분에 4, 5개의 이빨구멍이 뚫렸고, 뒷부분에는 홈이 뚫려 있어 [2]익룡들 사이에서 독특한 조합이다.
Allkaruen은 작은 익룡이었다.완모식표본은 두개골이 완전히 [2]융합됐기 때문에 성인일 것이다.
검출 및 명명
Allkauren의 완모형은 뇌 케이스(MPEF-PV 3613), 하악골(MPEF-PV 3609) 및 경추(MPEF-PV 3615)로 구성되며, 유사한 경추(MPEF-PV 3616)도 이 속으로 [2]언급되었다.이 원소들은 2000년 아르헨티나 추부트주 케로 콘도르에 있는 카냐돈 아스팔토 층에서 발견되었다. 이 층은 179.17 ± 0.12-178.07 ± 0.21m.a의 중후기 [4][5]토아르시안으로 거슬러 올라간다.대부분 탈구되어 있고 다른 하악골뿐만 아니라 다수의 사지뼈로 구성된 다른 요소들도 [2][6]현장에서 발견되었다.
'올카루엔'이라는 이름은 테후엘체(Tehuelche)로, 모든 '뇌'와 '카루엔'에서 유래했다.구체적인 이름인 koi는 모식 지역이 식염수 [2][7]호수였을 것이라는 사실에서 "호수"를 뜻하는 Tehuelche 단어에서 유래했다.
분류
2016년에는 알카루엔의 [8]계통학적 위치를 파악하기 위해 다윈옵테러스의 기술 데이터셋을 바탕으로 두 가지 계통학적 분석을 수행하였다.한 가지 분석은 완모형 뇌 케이스로 제한되었고, 다른 분석은 완모형 하악골과 경추도 포함되었습니다.Allkaruen은 Monofenestrata의 자매 분류군으로 꾸준히 회복되었다; 가장 검소한 360그루의 합의는 아래와 같다.[2]
