Eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai: at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Palace & Tower,[2] the Leopold Cafe, the Cama Hospital,[2] the Nariman House,[21][22] the Metro Cinema,[1] and in a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier's College.[2] 뭄바이 항구 지역의 마자곤에서도 폭발이 있었고, 빌레팔에서도 택시 안에서 폭발이 있었습니다.[23] 11월 28일 새벽까지 타지 호텔을 제외한 모든 부지는 뭄바이 경찰과 보안군에 의해 확보되었습니다.

Let Me Say It Now에서 공격을 조사할 책임을 지고 아말 카삽을 직접 심문한 전 IPS 장교 라케시 마리아는 테러범들이 그들의 시신이 힌두교인으로 오인되도록 하기 위해 간 정도를 밝혔습니다.
