2023년 메인주 포틀랜드 시장 선거는 메인주 포틀랜드 시장을 선출하기 위해 2023년 11월 7일에 실시되었습니다.
1923년 이래로 포틀랜드의 지방 선거는 공식적인 당파 공천을 포함하지 않았습니다. 2022년 9월, 케이트 스나이더 시장은 재선에 도전하지 않을 것이라고 발표했습니다.[1][2] 마크 디온은 다섯 차례의 투표 끝에 시장으로 선출되었습니다.[3]
배경
2011년부터 포틀랜드의 모든 시장 선거는 순위 선택 투표의 한 형태인 [4]즉석 결선 투표를 사용해 왔습니다.
시장, 시의회, 교육위원회의 공천 서류는 6월 30일에 가능했고 8월 14일에서 8월 28일 사이에 반납해야 했습니다.[5]
