2020년 미국 연방 하원의원 선거 가 2020년 11월 3일 텍사스 주에서 36명의 미국 하원의원 을 선출하기 위해 실시되었는데, 텍사스 주의 각 36개 의회 선거구 에서 한 명씩이었다.이 선거는 2020년 미국 대통령 선거 뿐만 아니라 다른 하원의원 선거 , 미국 상원의원 선거 , 그리고 다양 한 주와 지방 선거와 겹쳤다. 3일 예비경선이 치러지고 14일 결선투표가 치러졌다.
선거 주기 동안 다수의 하원 레이스는 최근 대통령 선거 기간 동안 텍사스의 경쟁적 특성 때문에 민주당 이나 여론조사에 의해 취약하다고 여겨졌다. 하지만, 선거의 결과로, 공화당원들 은 그 모든 의석에 대한 통제권을 유지할 수 있었다. 민주당이 장악하고 있는 15구 역시 비센테 곤잘레스 현 하원의원이 공화당 도전자에 근소한 차이로 승리하는 등 예상 외로 경쟁이 치열해졌다. 공화당의 승리는 도널드 트럼프 대통령이 투표용지에 등장하고 예상외로 라틴계 유권자들의 강력한 지지와 더불어 민주당의 선거운동 방식 등이 영향을 미친 것으로 분석됐다.[1] [2] [3]
